R.I.S.E. 2023 is July 31st thru August 2nd at the Gastonia Conference Center. Registration is free.
From the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction website:
“RISE training focuses on the resiliency, information, support and empowerment needed when supporting children and adolescents in schools and communities. This training offers a range of sessions covering the issues of bullying, suicide, opioid and substance use, critical incidents and other vital information about trauma and victimization among children and adolescents, and how these various dynamics impact school climate and school safety.”
The Third Talk™ specifically focuses on protecting kids from the exposure of explicit content online. Any child of any age can pick up any device – from smartphones to gaming consoles – and see explicit adult content. This is a national health crisis that is growing under the radar of most parents and is effecting our children’s growth and ability to form healthy relationships. It contributes to body dysmorphia, identity issues, sextortion, and is used by predators to groom children and desensitize them and normalize deviant behavior. In the worst cases it can lead to human trafficking.
The Third Talk Founder, John Van Arnam, will be at R.I.S.E. 2023 along with many others, so don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about protecting our children in today’s society.
Can’t be there? John is also available for Private Consultations and is available for Appearances. This is a movement to protect our kids, and we need your help! Donate, share our articles and social media posts and Volunteer so we can reach more parents to protect our nation’s future from the harms caused by this content.
