On May 24th 2023 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm The Third Talk® will be presenting How to Protect Your Children from Explicit Adult Content and Why at Evergreen Community Charter School in Asheville, North Carolina.
The exposure of our young people to explicit adult content is a health challenge we are just beginning to understand. Children are first exposed to this content, on average, at age 11. Exposure can cause emotional and physical challenges, rewire neural pathways, inhibit information retention and empathy, and creates mental health challenges very early in a child’s development.
We encourage parents to bring their kids to this important discussion. We offer a family-friendly environment without shame, blame, or colorful language. Pizza will be available.
